The Michael Owcharuk Trio is my outlet for original piano trio compositions and how I got my start in the music business.  I cite a wide variety of influences for the music: 20th century classical, Slavic sacred and traditional, Latin, punk rock, soul, metal, blues, electronica… Basically it is the product of our Information Age.  The coalescing factors are deep roots in the jazz combo tradition.
